What did celebs get up to following the 2026 Met Gala? After-parties, obviously. Pretty much every celeb who was on the red carpet last night kept the party going, which obviously involved an outfit change. And the vibe of the evening was definitely “the more naked the better,” with multiple celebs wearing sheer looks—including Charli xcx.
Charli wore a long-sleeved sheer lace dress to the Saint Laurent party, accessorized with just a pair of high-waisted underwear and some black sunglasses.
So good.
Earlier in the night, Charli walked the carpet wearing a silk and tulle Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello gown with a floral appliqué reminiscent of the brand’s spring-summer 1988 collection. Charli told Vogue, “Yves was paying tribute to Vincent van Gogh by re-creating Irises on an embroidered jacket. My dress tonight has an iris flower made out of resin, stitched onto its center. We’ve tried to kind of mirror that in the makeup by using more sheer and translucent tones to reflect the resin.”
Charli also chatted to Emma Chamberlain about what’s inspiring her right now, saying, “Actual real connection with people, being a bit more offline, having one-on-one hangs with my friends, talking about the things that they’re making, being a bit more rooted in reality.”
